LABEL DESIGN FOR AIRDRIE’S FIRST BREWERY.

Graphic Design, Packaging Design

Airdrie’s first brewery, Fitzsimmons, had done what most small breweries do and designed their own beer labels for their flagship brews; Big Hill Blonde and East Lake Amber. Looking to visually elevate their flagship beers, they approached me with the goal of refreshing their original design to reflect a more branded and cohesive look.

Using their “vintage Airdrie” brand aesthetic, I designed a label more inline with their visual identity. The idea was to create something cohesive, consistent, and on-brand while being able to easily differentiate between the different beers.

The design was well received and they decided to add a third one, the O.D.R. Cream Ale, to their roster.
